Over the past few years, many of you have sent in emails telling us about your great days out using a Cicerone guidebook, and we’d love to hear more.
We have a great team of authors who write our guides, but sometime it’s hard to beat stories written by the users of our guides. We’re looking for interesting and informative stories of great days out using a Cicerone guidebook, whether it was a short stroll, bike ride, winter climb or an epic long-distance trail.
We will give the writer of each each story we use a 30% discount off their next order placed on the Cicerone website. So, what are you waiting for...
Tips for your story*
Include a brief description of your route, and why you choose it.
Let us know which Cicerone guide you used.
Include a couple of inspirational photographs to illustrate your story.

How to send us your story
Email your story to info@cicerone.co.uk
Terms and conditions:
Your story should be no longer than 500 words long.
If you would like to include some photographs, keep the file size of each image under 1MB, and please do not submit more than 3 images.
The story I am submitting is my own original work.
Stories may be edited at the discretion of Cicerone.
I understand that Cicerone may want to use my story to:
- On the Cicerone website
- Appear in the Cicerone blog and Cicerone e-newsletter
- In other marketing and press material created by Cicerone
Cicerone reserve the right not to publish any story that:
- Contains copyrighted text or quotations
- Invades the privacy of other people, or group of people
- Has been previously published
