Roger Redfern
Roger Redfern was a well-known mountaineer and photo-journalist whose articles appeared regularly in publications including High, The Great Outdoors, Peak District magazine, Peakland Walker and The Guardian. A founder tutor of the former Mountaineering Association, he climbed all over Britain and the Alps, and in Africa and the north-eastern United States. He was a former editor of the mountaineering magazine Mountain Craft (later Mountain), and had over 30 books and guides to his name. He passed away in November 2011.
