The routes are challenging, but much information is provided about access, accommodation, and the ideal time of year to tackle the routes.

While the routes are certainly not for the faint-hearted, Radek has also included a section on sightseeing in Ladakh, describing festivals, guesthouses and restaurants perfect for some well-earned R&R after a challenging trek.
Just one word of warning, be prepared to be left wanting more, as the author certainly was!
