Book Launch

Great Mountain DaysGreat Mountain Days in the Lake District‘ is due to be published later this month. As part of the launch, the author Mark Richards will be giving an illustrated talk at Sam Read’s book in Grasmere on Wednesday 9th April at 4pm.

During the Keswick Mountain Festival in May, Mark will be hosting a guided walk on Red Pike Ridge, as well as giving an illustrated talk on the Friday evening.


The Outdoors Show (NEC)

Well, it was another busy weekend for us at the NEC Outdoors Show. It’s alway great to get to meet the readers and users of our guides, and help planning your next walk, trek or adventure.

We’ve tentatively booked for next year, and are exploring a few different options. So watch this space…


Talks at Stanfords (Covent Garden)

Cicerone authors Mark Richards and Kev Reynolds will be giving talks at Stanfords in Covent Garden.

Join Mark Richards on Tuesday 29th April, as he introduces his latest book Great Mountain Days in the Lake District.

And on Wednesday 30th April, let outdoor writer and photographer Kev Reynolds convey you to another world as he describes trekking in the high Himalaya, from Everest to Annapurna.

Cicerone wins gold award

We have just found out that we have won the gold award for the fourth year running.
