Some of your guides are listed on the website under ‘sunshine’ walking. Do you mean easy?

Not necessarily. We were looking for an umbrella term for all our international walking guides that weren’t centred in the high mountains, and we noticed a strong tendency for them to be in sunny places, where the vita is dolce. So we came up with the term ‘sunshine guide’. It’s hot; some routes and areas are much easier than others. The routes are generally at a lower level, but some – such as those in the guides to Mallorca, Crete’s White Mountains and the Costa Blanca – are in high, rugged terrain. So it’s a mixture of grades, some straightforward, some quite stern.
