IGN (1:100,000) Green Series

Sheets: 50(5), 58, 57(4), 63(3), 69

Michelin 919 is a single map covering the whole of southern France, but the IGN (Institut Géographique National) green series are recommended for walkers as the GR65 and its variantes are marked on them. The scale is 1:100,000 and only five are required (as against 25 in the blue 1:25,000 series): 50(5), 58, 57(4), 63(3) and 69. These are readily available (from Stanfords map shop in London, from The Map Shop, Upton-upon-Severn, or from many general bookshops). However, to aid the user in planning, sketch maps of the route are included in this book.
