The Ben Lawers Visitor Centre and its associated car park are no more. They have been replaced by a new car park at NN 608 376 within an area of regenerating woodland about 150 metres south of the old site. There are some external interpretation panels in the car park. The new car park – part of which is in use already – will be fully open in Spring 2012. There is a charge for using it. Two new sections of path have been constructed by NTS to link the new site to the main Ben Lawers and Tarmachan paths. The site of the former car park is being restored to moorland. Please note that there are no toilets on the new site. Further details of the Reserve are available at http://www.nts.org.uk/Property/Ben-Lawers-National-Nature-Reserve or from the Manager/Senior Ranger on 0844 4932136.
