No single map covers the entire area in enough detail for comfortable navigation. A combination of the Michelin Local Map, Sheet 328: Ain, Haute-Savoie, and the Italian Istituto Geografico Centrale 1:50,000 scale map for the Massiccio del Monte Bianco, which can be bought in Italy, works well.
