Thanks to reader Richard Tiley and Pyrenean expert Ton Joosten, we note that REFUGI DE BESIBERRI (bivouac hut) in the Aigüestortes National Park has been removed from its site below the NE ridge of Besiberri Nord, as described on pp346, 350 and 353 of Walks & Climbs in the Pyrenees. A replacement metal bivouac hut with 6 bunks has been provided in the valley west of the Besiberri massif at 2200m. It has a nearby water source and could be useful for ascents of both Besiberri Nord and Sud. Location: Latitude 42.604319 Longitude 0.809571

Update to accommodation details for Route 114 Tour du Carlit on pages 272 and 273:
The last line on page 272 should now read
From here to the hamlet of Béna (limited accommodation at the farm Le Mas Franc Tel 04 68 04 88 21; e-mail masfranc@wanadoo.fr) the walk is almost entirely downhill, with glorious views that seem to grow broader with every step.
The first line on page 273 should now read
Leaving Béna the route continues eastward, passing through yet more tiny, time-forgotten hamlets like Fànes and Brangoly, then crosses Col de Jouell to slope down to Dorres (Hotel Marty Tel 04 68 30 07 52; www.hotelmarty.com), a handsome place and one of the jewels of the Cerdagne.
