March 2009
Since the inception of the GR20, it has not been possible to book places in advance at the refuges.
However, all this is changing from May 2009. Walkers who wish to stay at the GR20 refuges, or camp beside them, must book and pay in advance. You need to get the appropriate tickets in advance, take them with you along the trail and produce them at the refuges where you wish to stay or camp.
Full details of this scheme, including contact details for obtaining the tickets, or online booking, is available at www.parc-corse.org.
