The Scottish 4000ers Traverse, The Cairngorms High Level Traverse, Arran's High HillsAfter a comprehensive introduction and a general location map, each walk begins with an information box, indicating the start and finish, the number of days needed and the daily distance. There is then an area summary and a walk summary followed by additional information including campsites, bothies and hostels. It's a really useful book for planning longer walks, which could encourage walkers to go that bit further, and sleep at night rather than walking right through the darkness.
