Each route is accompanied by an extract from the 1:50000 OS (or OSI) map to show its location, although some features mentioned in the information boxes and route descriptions only appear on the 1:25000 maps. (In Ireland, the spellings used on the Harvey maps have been followed as the OSI maps are inconsistent, but place names should be easy to recognise.) Some of the climbs are also illustrated by topos, which show the routes described and any key rock features mentioned in the descriptions.
