Marsh's introduction reflects his great attachment to "Eilean a Cheo," the misty Isle. Apart from his usual information on safety, access, maps and paths, I liked his references on flora/fauna, Scots Gaelic folklore and nomenclature, not to mention his section on History and Geology.
This is a powerful, informative and a must have guidebook, if you are planning a trip over the sea to Skye.
