Pembrokeshire Coast Path PEMBCP

Ceredigion, Pembrokes 299km/186 miles

The route of this walk, the first National Trail in Wales, lies mainly within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. With the exception of the Milford Haven Waterway and three MOD establishments it follows the coastline around the county of Pembrokeshire. The scenery provides an ever-changing contrast between the softer sedimentary rocks of the south coast, with its fine beaches, and the more rugged rocks of the northern coast. The area is rich in prehistoric remains and is noted for its sea birds and seals. Towns and villages visited include Newport, Fishguard, St David’s, Broad Haven, Marloes Sands, Bosherston, Manobier, Tenby and Saundersfoot.
