Mountain walks - International

Most of our mountain walking guide books are now in blue covers, although many are older guides to less frequented areas, which perhaps hold a greater charm and challenge to some. In general mountain walking outside the UK can be little more demanding than a walk in the Lake District or Snowdonia, although the world’s mountain ranges are generally higher, with the associated effects of altitude on your progress.
