TALKS AND SEMINARS – click here for details and times
This year Cicerone was invited to provide a full programme of talks and seminars in The Glade Theatre, at the Regatta Woodland Walk, right next to the Cicerone stand.
We wanted to put together a programme which would give everyone the opportunity to really meet some of our authors with a wide range of experience, so that all those niggling questions could be answered in a friendly and informal setting. We are delighted to welcome...

Paddy Dillon – who will give talks and seminars on Lightweight Trekking, Tackling the GR20 in Corsica, walking Britain's National Trails, and Winter sunshine walking.
Kev Reynolds – who will give talks and seminars on Organising your own trek in the Himalaya, Alpine walking for beginners and old hands, Hut-to-hut tours, and The Tour of the Jungfrau Region.
Amy-Jane Beer and Roy Halpin – authors of the recently published, and already best-selling Moveable Feasts, will take you through some useful tips and hints on nutrition and cooking in the outdoors – with free tasty samples!
Pete Hawkins – one of the country's top navigation experts will take you through the basics of navigating with a map and compass.
Mark Richards – tells the stories behind his walking and writing projects in the Lake District and also in the Peak District.
