Cicerone now sell books in a digital format

Our eBooks can be read on your PC or Mac, and printed out up to 3 times.

You can download your eBook immediately after purchase and start to read it straight away.

You could print out individual walks and carry them in your map case.

Unfortunately our eBooks can not yet be read on an iPad or iPhone.

Buying your eBooks

Where this button appears, there is an eBook available for you to buy.

Find the title you want to read, add it to your basket by clicking the eBook button and once payment is complete you will be able to download the ebook to your PC or Mac.

Paypal Users

To return to our website from Paypal Follow the "Return to Scottish Book Source Ltd" link. You will then be able to collect your eBook.

Collecting your eBook

Please ensure that you have Digital Editions Installed

on your computer before collecting your ebook.

You will only be able to print your book form your first download. Please make sure that you collect your book on the computer that you will print from.

Once your payment has been accepted you will be taken to a receipt page.

At the bottom of this page there will be a link to click on and collect your eBook. Please see the picture below.

Finding your eBook in your Cicerone Account

You can also download your book through the ‘My Account’ button which is situated at the top left of our website.

The ebooks you have purchased will be displayed.

Click on the link by each one to download the ebook onto your computer.

Downloading an Adobe ebook should automatically launch Adobe Digital Editions and the title should appear in its library.

Finding your eBook on your computer

If you have problems locating your download try checking Digital Editions folder situated under My Documents.

If the eBook is not showing here then look in your downloads folder. You may need to click on the icon in your downloads folder to start the final download process, the book should then be visible in the Adobe Reader.

Note - Please be patient when your book first appears in the Adobe Reader, it can take a few minutes for things to get going.

As well as seeing the confirmation of order page you will also receive a confirmation of order email from us, which will detail your order.

Reading your eBooks

Our ebooks are protected by Digital Rights Management software. You will need to register your copy of Adobe Digital Editions in order to view them.

Cicerone currently produces ebooks in the Adobe ebook format which can be viewed using Adobe's Digital Editions software. You can download this here. It is best to download this program before you collect your ebooks.

Printing Your eBooks

Our eBooks can be printed up to 3 times monthly. Please make sure that you collect your book on the computer that you wish to print it from.

You will only be able to print from your first download of your book.

If you want to use your book on more than one computer, the best way of doing this is through Adobe Digital Editions. If you have registered this program on your computer then you will be able to access your eBook library on more than one device. We are working to make our eBooks as user friendly as possible, whilst still protecting the digital rights. Please contact us with any problems you have, email sue at info@cicerone.co.uk.

Returning your eBook

Unfortunately there is not yet a way for customers to return ebooks to us. Please ensure that you have chosen the correct book before you complete your purchase.
