The Pyrenees

Climbers can enjoy unrivaled challenges, while walkers have endless opportunities… on the busier French side or the wilder Spanish side of the chain.

The coast-to-coast long-distance footpaths (Atlantic to Mediterranean), comprising the Spanish GR11, the French GR10 and the shorter, higher Pyrenean Haute Route, pass through green countryside, climbing to snow-white peaks separated by valleys of untouched natural beauty. Those who prefer an easier pace can stay closer to civilization, enjoying the culture and history of the area.
