France and Spain

These guides begin in France, with a route which crosses the Pyrenees and into Spain. The Way of St James from Le Puy in France to Santiago in north west Spain is the principal route in this section.

This route is also known as the Via Podensis  and the GR65 in France, and then the Camino Frances in Spain. There are two guides for walkers, The Way of St James - Spain and The Way of St James - France, plus a cyclist's guide to the entire route.
