Cicerone Live: Paddy Dillon and Raynor Winn on hiking, homelessness and her new book 'The Wild Silence'
In our November Cicerone Live event, join Cicerone and special guests Paddy Dillon and Raynor Winn to talk about hiking, homelessness and her new book 'The Wild Silence'.
Raynor Winn is a long-distance walker who writes about nature, homelessness and wild camping. The Salt Path, a Sunday Times bestseller and shortlisted for the 2018 Costa Biography Award, explores her experience of walking the South West Coast Path during a period of homelessness. In her second and recently released book, The Wild Silence, Raynor explores readjusting to life after homelessness. She lives in Cornwall with her husband Moth.
Paddy Dillon is one of Cicerone's most prolific walkers and guidebook writers, with over 90 guidebooks to his name and contributions to 40 other titles. He has written extensively for many different outdoor publications and has appeared on radio and television. Paddy is the author of Cicerone's guidebook to the South West Coast Path, the guidebook used by Raynor and Moth on their journey along the coast from Minehead to Poole.
