Buying a Guidebook

We want to make the process of buying a guidebook as easy, quick and above all safe as we can for you. We try very hard to ensure that our terms are fair, our service is quick, and our guarantee is as good as it can be.

Cicerone guidebooks are sold on this site at the prices indicated, with postage costs as appropriate depending on where you are and how many guidebooks you buy.

We offer free UK FIRST CLASS postage. International orders by AIRMAIL - Airmail postage charges can be found here (note: we are unable to deliver to a PO BOX address overseas).

Our guarantee

If you are not happy with the guidebook, please contact us to sort out a return, or to arrange to swap it for an alternative guidebook. No quibbles, no fuss, we just sort it out.

About BookSource

BookSource is Cicerone’s distribution partner. BookSource is a professional book distributor based in Glasgow. We keep our books in their warehouse, all our orders go to them, they pack and post our books to you, and send all payments to us. Your internet order will go directly to them and they will send it straight to you.

We do this for two main reasons.

Firstly, so we can be sure to give all our customers the best possible professional service, however large or small they may be.

Secondly, so we can concentrate on the work of publishing high quality guides, keeping them up to date and accurate, and telling all our customers and users about them.

BookSource issue their own invoicing documentation for us. Don’t let this worry you at all – they are doing it on our behalf. In terms of privacy, BookSource and ourselves hold all your information totally confidentially, and solely for the purposes of processing the transaction. Find out more information on our Privacy Policy and on payment security.
