Terms & Conditions

  • No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.
  • This competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over, with the exception of the Promoter's employees, their families, agents, and anyone else connected with this promotion.
  • Competition winners will receive a 7-day, 8-night trip on the Camino Portugues Coastal for 2 people from Oia to Santiago de Compostela.
  • This package only applies to 2 people sharing ensuite double rooms in Follow the Camino’s ‘Comfort’ accommodation range. For further details on our accommodation levels, see the FAQs on the Follow the Camino website.
  • The package includes Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, Our Holiday Information Pack & Walking Notes, Virtual Pre-Departure Briefing, and 24/7 On-Call Support. Add-ons include Accommodation Upgrades, Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Offs, Luggage Transfers, Additional Nights, Evening Meals, and Day Tours to Local Sites of Interest. The package does not include flights/public or private transfers, insurance, or drinks/lunch.
  • Upgrades and additions to the itinerary stipulated above are at the sole expense of the competition winners.
  • The competition winner must book their trip within 365 days of being notified by the Follow the Camino team. Any attempt to redeem our offer after this point will be invalid. Bookings must be completed at least 30 days before the intended start date of the trip.
  • Trips cancelled by the customer for any reason will invalidate the offer. Customers will be unable to redeem this offer again.
  • This trip can only be redeemed under the above terms; it cannot be exchanged for another tour package or an equivalent value in cash or credit.
  • Follow the Camino trips redeemed through this offer are covered under the company’s General Terms & Conditions.
  • Competition runners-up will receive one copy of Cicerone's guidebook on the Camino Portugues. This cannot be exchanged for another Cicerone guidebook or an equivalent value in cash or credit.
  • The dispatch of your guidebook is at the discretion of the Cicerone team. For more information, please get in touch with Cicerone.
  • Entries must be received by 23:59 BST on 18.12.2024. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
  • Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  • All valid entries received by the closing date will be entered into a prize draw on 19.12.2024. The winner and runners-up will be notified via email by 20.12.2024.
  • Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b), in exceptional circumstances, to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • By entering this giveaway, all entrants agree to use their personal data by the Promoter to run the competition as detailed in these terms and conditions.
  • We will make the winner’s name and country available on request to the following email address: info@cicerone.co.uk. Please state the name of the giveaway in the subject heading 10 weeks after the closing date). If you do not want your name and county to be available if you win, please email info@cicerone.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.
  • The promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in the Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in the Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants, including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.

By entering the prize draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
