Kev Reynolds at 'A Day of Books' event
Cicerone author, Kev Reynolds will be closing the ‘Day of Books’ at All Saints’ Church, Sutton Courtenay* (burial place of George Orwell) on Saturday 14 October, with his lecture A Walk in the Clouds.
The ‘Day of Books’ begins at 9am with a breakfast of bacon butties, followed by writer/publisher Ben Jeapes describing The Writer’s Path –a must for would-be writers.
At 10.45, renowned children’s author Rod Hunt (he’s written over 600 books) will tell why Reading Matters. A ploughman’s lunch follows at midday, with Oxford’s largest professional theatre company, Creation Theatre, describing their staging of Orwell’s classic novel 1984.
Cream teas at 3.15 should prepare the audience for a romp around some of the World’s most dramatic mountains with Kev’s Walk in the Clouds, in which he entertains with highlights of his fifty years as a climber, trekker and guidebook writer.
