Rachel grew up on her grandfather's Somerset farm and as a child she loved to explore the surrounding fields and woodland. This natural spirit for adventure has never left her and she is always keen to discover new walking routes in her home county of Somerset. 

As a magazine editor and published author Rachel loves to share her discoveries of the area through her writing, and joyfully describes herself as a 'Footpath Nerd!'
