Truly a great challenge, the route takes you on a visually stunning journey between Europe’s two most iconic mountains – Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn as the trail passes by 10 of the 12 highest snow-capped peaks in the Alps, winding its way through glacial valleys, lush alpine meadows and enchanting picture-book villages. You walk through both the French and Swiss Alps, two distinct cultural regions with different languages, customs, food and architecture. The daily height gain is substantial, the highest pass is at 9,800 ft (2964 m) and the overall accumulation over 11 days is in the region of 39370 ft (12,000m). Therefore you definitely have to be fit and ready for a challenge!

The vacation begins on the 6th August 2019, in Chamonix Mont-Blanc, France and finishes 11 days later in Zermatt in Switzerland.
