When not working in London as a Psychiatrist, Giles escapes to the hills as often as possible, where he enjoys running and cycling. Originally from North Yorkshire, he was introduced to fell racing at an early age and continues to run competitively. He has also completed a number of long distance treks in Scotland, Corsica, the Alps and the Dolomites. Having recently developed an enthusiasm for wild swimming, he is currently training to swim the length of Windermere in the English Lake District. He documents his outings on a selection of vintage cameras, which are good for starting conversations with strangers.
