Martin Collins

Martin Collins was a freelance author, photojournalist and cartographer, as well as a contributor to the UK outdoor media. After walking the GR5 in 1981, the experience kindled a passion for the French Alps that remained strong throughout his life. Martin wrote over twenty books for walkers, pioneering many routes along the coast, mountains and countryside of the UK and parts of Europe. Martin sadly passed away in May 2023.
