David Hunter, in his forward, informs us of changes to the route, including a re-routing near Broadrock and Bigswear, both of which reduce walking along busy roads. Approaches to Hay-on-Wye and Buttington have also changed and the route now takes in Trevor Wood, near Llangollen. Local information has been updated and sketch maps have been replaced by OS 1:50,000 maps. This edition is in full colour, with many more photographs.
