Looking to discover new places to walk in Snowdonia this summer? Alex Kendall, international mountain leader and author of three Cicerone guidebooks to Snowdonia, offers some advice and inspiration in our latest Tune-in Tuesday live event.

Listen in to hear Alex discuss his favourite places in Snowdonia, how to choose a less popular route and what it's like to piece together a long distance walking trail.

Alex Kendall is the author of three guides to walking and trekking in Snowdonia. His first, The Snowdonia Way, covers long-distance trekking route from Machynlleth to Conwy. For updates, news and more inspiration, follow the Snowdonia Way Facebook page or visit the Snowdonia Way website.

Alex has also written a two volume set of guidebooks to low level and easy walking in Snowdonia. Published in July 2019, Snowdonia: low level and easy walking - North covers Snowdon, the Ogwen and Conwy Valleys and the coast. The second volume, Snowdonia: low level and easy walking - South, is due to publication in September 2020 and covers Ffestiniog to the Dyfi, and Bala to the coast. It is available for preorder now.

This event is part of our Tune in Tuesdays series of live events, hosted on Zoom and Facebook.

Find out more about upcoming live events via our Events Page, including our Tune-in Tuesday event on 14 July about the Cambrian Way, another long-distance trekking route in Wales.
