Mark Richards is known to many as an accomplished outdoor-writer and walker. Having featured in numerous film and TV programmes on Lakeland, and more recently hosting the entertaining Lake District and Cumbria walking podcast 'Countrystride' (https://www.countrystride.co.uk) Mark is perhaps best known for the epic Lakeland Fellranger series (2003-2013) which cover the length and breadth of the Lake District.
Now Mark is revisiting the territory with two new books in a vastly overhauled Fellranger 2.0... Walking the Lake District Fells (Cicerone).
Join us for the publication of:
* Wasdale: The Scafells, Great Gable, Pillar
* Langdale: The Langdale Pikes and Bowfell
Mark will be guiding us over numerous Lakeland summits... relax, you won't be needing outdoor kit though! We'll be secure in the warmth and comfort of Emma's Dell. So, you can sit back and enjoy a beverage as Mark reflects on the process of bringing together line drawings, maps and photography in print in an ever-demanding, digital age.
