Route 12

The Memorial Bridge over the River Liza opposite Pillar was badly damaged in Storm Eowyn and has been removed. There are alternative bridges in the valley. It is possible, but discouraged by signage in the valley, to cross the river by foot at the location of the bridge (www.wildennerdale.co.uk/visit).
