Difficulty

Straightforward alpine walking, these are half- to full-day routes, with few problems. Sterner than Haute Savoie North.

Must See

Views to Mont Blanc, Lac Annecy from above on a clear day, alpine flowers and wildlife in unfrequented alps.

Cartes IGN No. 45 Annecy/Lausanne-Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Jura, Série Verte 1:1000. These maps can be bought locally and sometimes the French supermarkets sell them cheaper. Maps are more expensive if bought in Geneva.
