The 110 graded scramble routes in this guidebook cover the Lake District regions of Wasdale, Ennerdale and Buttermere, Borrowdale, Thirlmere, Patterdale, Mardale and Swindale. Scrambling (rougher walking routes where you’ll need to use your hands) is becoming increasingly popular, and is a way of enjoying the wilder Lakeland.
