Route updates

Due to the establishment of the King Charles III England Coast Path, parts of the SWCP have been altered.

Pages 6 & 9
The 'main' route between North Hill and Bossington is no longer part of the SWCP. The 'alternative' route marked in blue is now the 'main' route. However, the 'main' route is now marked around Hurlstone Point, although in the event of strong winds an 'alternative' route is signposted to Bossington.

Page 11
The SWCP now leaves Porlock Weir around Gore Point, although in the event of an unusually high tide the original SWCP route can still be followed.

Page 12
A new stretch of the SWCP is now available, running closer to Glenthorne and the coast, rather than passing high above Glenthorne.

Page 16
Two very short stretches of new path are available either side of Lee Abbey, avoiding short road walks.

Page 23
The very last part of the descent to Combe Martin now uses a new short path.
