Vanda and Julian Lambton are friends and ex-trustees of Bendrigg who decided to check out a Cicerone guidebook for the first time:

"When Bendrigg announced that they were to be the beneficiaries of a percentage of sales from Cicerone books, I thought it was worth checking out their titles. I was thrilled to find Walks & Scrambles in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas by David Wood as we were planning a trip.

The book proved to be an excellent guide, and although we only did fairly low level walks, the information and detail concerning marker points was extremely helpful. There were a number of local people acknowledged for their assistance to David Wood, all of whom we met and they were thrilled to see us using the guide book! Thank you Cicerone! I shall definitely be checking out their other publications."

Cicerone's Charitable Donations

For Cicerone's 50th anniversary we are fundraising for two charities: the Juniper Trust and the Bendrigg Trust. We will donate £1 per book sold on our website and we invite customers to make a donation too, if they wish.
